Living in Color

My first solo exhibition in Copenhagen from May 5 to June 5, 2023

Step into a world of vibrant colours and emotional depth with "Living in Color", a collection of unique artworks by Anastasiia Lodde. As a contemporary artist with a multicultural background, Lodde brings a unique perspective to her work, exploring themes of self-awareness, happiness and presence.

The paintings in "Living in Color" tell a story of chasing happiness through understanding true values. In addition, they emphasize the significance of diversity, individuality, and the pursuit of one's goals. With contrasting colours, intricate patterns, and playful elements such as bicycles, the paintings create a sense of movement and invite viewers to the journey of self-discovery.

This captivating painting shows a close-up of a girl in a blue dress with a delicate lace collar. Her dark red, bold lips symbolize strength and faith in herself, while the long bicycle wheel earrings add a unique touch of playfulness to the piece. The collar represents the obstacles we face in life that often hinder our pursuit of happiness and success.

From "Living in Color" collection

The "Living in Color" collection, on the one hand, gives a colourful, sincere look at moving to a new country, and on the other hand, reveals the problems an immigrant faces and how he solves them. In my paintings, I share personal stories of my friends and myself, showing how significant changes can change our values and views.

Each piece of art is a personal reflection on the relationship between people, inspired by Lodde's experience living in Copenhagen. Through her art, she encourages conversations and inspires others to appreciate the present moment and use positive memories to overcome life's obstacles. So don't miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich world of "Living in Color".
