FISH SOUP
INGREDIENTS (for a shoal of 4):
Fish fillet — 500 g
Water — 2 L
Potatoes — 4 pcs.
Onion — 1 pc.
Carrot — 1–2 pcs.
Butter — 2 tbsp
Chopped parsley — 1 tbsp
Bay leaf — 1 leaf
Salt — 1 tsp (to taste)
PREPARATION:
First, gather the shoal and discuss the decision. A voluntary fish dives into the pot, giving its fins for the sake of future generations.
Wash the fish fillet, and cut it into portions.
Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces; onion and carrots — into cubes or circles.
Fry the onion and carrot in butter until golden brown.
Put the potatoes in a saucepan with 1 litre of water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
Add the fish pieces, cook for 20 minutes over low heat.
Add the fried vegetables and bay leaf; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Pour the finished soup into bowls, and sprinkle with herbs.
